Chrome for Mac?

5 June 2009 4 Comments

Yesterday, Google released an early alpha version of Google Chrome for Mac and Linux. Which is great right? Well, no. Google told everyone not to download it. Why? Well, it is an alpha version, so it is missing key features. Like flash support, and other standard web browser features. Google also stated, that is would have problems, like crashing and freezing. Which you should expect for an early alpha release.

The only good thing from this, is that it is coming near a final release. Google has been working hard on Chrome for Mac and Linux, and this just shows, Chrome will be done soon. Those who did try out Chrome, said is was very fast compared to Firefox and Safari. Which is expected, as it is built off of Webkit. Until then, all we have to do is wait until a final release of Google Chrome for both Mac and Linux. It will definitely be worth the wait, for this long awaited web browser.
